Unfortunately, June started as a month of yet another Covid-19 hard lockdown. Lockdowns are challenging. The only way to deal with them according to Red Bagels is to keep doing good in the world.
It was a very quiet month, which was to be expected having just started the first month of our sabbatical. However there was an exception. Red Bagels gave a donation to our local security company, GAP, for their fundraiser: “Together we are better”. Gap is a vital service in our community and they put their lives on the line 24/7 to assure our safety 365 days a year. We just could not resist donating to this amazing organization and doing at least one random act of kindness for this month, especially when we were told that our matchers would not just double, but triple the donations. We are very happy to congratulate Gap on their extremely successful campaign. We are so grateful we could be part of their successful campaign.
If we all do one random act of kindness every day, we might just help this world to continue going in the right direction.
